The SKF VectoLub minimal quantity lubrication system offers a clean and economical alternative solution for spraying minimal quantities of lubricant. The use of micro-displacement pumps allows the supply of the smallest lubricant quantities (from 3 mm3) via a two-substance nozzle in a high pulse sequence in the following application areas:
- Metal cutting, sheet metal working.
- Lubrication of parts.
- Lubrication of conveyor systems e.g. chain lubrication.
In this system, one or more adjustable micro pumps convey the oil from a falling oil container to the nozzle. Here, the escaping micro-droplets are circulated by the blown air and sprayed onto the object to be lubricated. Due to the multitude of possibilities, we present here and one unit as an example.
